Test Results & Patient Portal

No, it is NOT so EPIC at Le Bonheur.

While I did take a break from all of the nonsense spewed from people passing me from one place to another, I do believe that TODAY I was able to complete what I needed to access Mini Mayhem's patient portal/medical records at Le Bonheur. Now mind you, I was passed from one MyChart tech person to medical records and then back to MyChart tech support because nahhhhhhhhhhh, it just can't be easy. I even asked the MyChart support person why she was sending me to medical records. Actually, I asked, "what is medical records going to be able to do?", and she just said she couldn't add physicians to the portal. Guess what? Medical records can't add them either so she was passing me off! I swear they want me to flip tables.

The second support person had me sign up for access like I never had before,  using a different log-in and complete the proxy form again since I am not Mini Mayhem herself. Only time will tell (72 hours to be specific) if I actually get granted the access I need. 

The support guy kept telling me that I should have received an email to sign up for MyChart and it would have included a code. I couldn't put my hands on my original email at the time but found it and it just invited me to sign up for MyChart. There was NO CODE! I knew I didn't recall a code but I couldn't be so sure because from May of last year until a month or so ago, my head was on crooked. I just greatly dislike it when people try to tell me that I HAD to have received something, I HAD to have been told something, I HAD to have been given something when I know that I HAVE NOT. 

What sparked me trying again today for access is because I had still not received the results from Mayhem's sleep study that was done on JANUARY 2, 2025. The nurse from the ENT's office called and said that they were back and she will send them to the doc to review and call me back with the results. I am hoping they will eventually be in the portal because I need to read the report myself so I can compare it to the previous one. 

So, I wait........
